The Myotonometer® (patented)

Neurogenic Technologies®, Inc. is a company dedicated to medical and scientific consultation, research and testing to develop new and unique medical and scientific devices to be used in restorative neurology, physical rehabilitation and sports medicine.

The first product to be introduced to the public is the newly patented Myotonometer®. This hand-held, computerized, electronic device quickly quantifies muscle stiffness, muscle tone, muscle compliance, muscle strength and the level of severity of the spastic condition. It can be used to assess relative changes in muscle properties following sport-related injuries, neurological insult, progressive muscle degenerative disorders, orthopedic conditions and to track treatment intervention efficacy. Computational software automatically determines, within seconds, whether changes in muscle tone or strength have taken place over time or following treatment interventions. Graphs and charts are generated immediately and can be printed out for patient or insurance documentation.
